Membership

Membership in the Italian Art Society brings you together with established and emerging scholars, students, and others with a shared interest in the history of  architecture and the visual arts in Italy, from prehistory to the present day.  Members receive the Italian Art Society Newsletter (delivered via e-mail) and are invited to suggest topics of interest for conference sessions; a new members-only bulletin board and information exchange is currently under construction. Your membership supports these activities, including our sessions at CAA, RSA, the International Medieval Congress in Kalamazoo, and the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference, as well as travel fellowships for graduate students, recent Ph.D. recipients, and international scholars presenting papers at those conferences, and the IAS/Kress Lectures in Italy, which will be inaugurated in May 2010.
